The dreaded “Account Suspended” notification . . . Over the past several months, we’ve been working to 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀. Our enforcement systems are crucial for protecting users from bad actors, but we recognized that too often trusted advertisers were getting caught in the net and experiencing protracted, confusing appeals processes. We heard the feedback and have taken a number of steps to reduce account suspension disruptions for legitimate advertisers. Here’s what we’re seeing so far: ⬇️ Incorrect account suspensions are 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟴𝟬%. ⏩ Appeals are being 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝟳𝟬% 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿. ⏰ 99% of appeals are now addressed 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.
