Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil destiné à ouvrir / fermer un panneau d'écoutille d'un cargo, et plus particulièrement un appareil d'ouverture / fermeture de panneau d'écoutille d'un cargo qui déplace horizontalement un panneau d'écoutille à l'aide d'un bras pivotant susceptible de coulisser le long de la partie avant du panneau d'écoutille de façon à ouvrir / fermer le panneau d'écoutille. Selon la présente invention, le bras pivotant lié à un montant pivotant maintient et tire latéralement la surface avant du panneau d'écoutille afin d'ouvrir ledit panneau d'écoutille. De ce fait, il n'est pas nécessaire d'installer longitudinalement sur un pont une passerelle le long de laquelle la ou les roues du panneau d'écoutille sont appelées à rouler.
