Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus for opening/closing a hatch cover of a cargo ship, and more particularly, to an apparatus for opening/closing a hatch cover of a cargo ship, which horizontally moves a hatch cover using a rotary arm which can slide along the front portion of the hatch cover so as to open/close the hatch cover. According to the present invention, the rotary arm connected to a rotary post holds and laterally pulls the front surface of the hatch cover in order to open the hatch cover. Thus, it is unnecessary to longitudinally install, on a deck, a bridge along which the wheel of the hatch cover is to be rolled.
