Abstract

ＰＤＰにおいて、各色の蛍光体の経年劣化による色バランスの乱れを調整（色バランスをなるべく均一に維持）することができる技術を提供する。本ＰＤＰは、画素におけるＲ，Ｇ，Ｂの各色のセルの構造として、各色の蛍光体（９Ｒ，９Ｇ，９Ｂ）の劣化特性に応じて、セルの領域における、放電電極面積が、例えばＢ色のセルでは、他の色のセルよりも小さくなるように形成され、かつ、その放電電極面積に応じて、当該セル単位の蛍光体の形成の面積は、当該Ｂ色のセルでは、他の色のセルよりも大きくなるように形成され、これらの配分により、各色のセルの特性が均一に調整されている。
