Claims (11)
- ジルコニウムを含む金属酸化物担体を用意する工程(a)と、
ロジウムを含む溶液を用意する工程(b)と、
前記溶液に、前記金属酸化物担体と、炭酸アンモニウム、炭酸水素アンモニウムまたはアンモニア水とを加え、pHが3.0以上7.5以下に調整された前記溶液を得る工程(c)と、
前記工程(c)の後に、前記溶液を乾燥および焼成することによって、前記金属酸化物担体にロジウムが担持された触媒粉末を得る工程(d)と、
を包含する排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。 - 前記工程(c)は、
前記金属酸化物担体を前記溶液に混合する工程(c−1A)と、
前記工程(c−1A)の後に、前記溶液に炭酸アンモニウム、炭酸水素アンモニウムまたはアンモニア水を加えることによって、前記溶液のpHを3.0以上7.5以下に調整する工程(c−2A)と、
を含む請求項1に記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。 - 前記工程(c)は、
前記溶液に炭酸アンモニウム、炭酸水素アンモニウムまたはアンモニア水を加えることによって、前記溶液のpHを所定の範囲に調整する工程(c−1B)と、
前記工程(c−1B)の後に、前記金属酸化物担体を前記溶液に混合する工程(c−2B)と、
を含み、
前記工程(c−1B)における前記所定の範囲は、前記工程(c−2B)の実行後に前記溶液のpHが3.0以上7.5以下となるように設定されている請求項1に記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。 - 前記工程(c)において得られる前記溶液のpHは4.0以上6.5以下である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。
- 前記工程(a)において用意される金属酸化物担体は、酸化物換算で50mol%以上95mol%以下のジルコニウムを含む請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。
- 前記工程(a)において用意される金属酸化物担体は、酸化物換算で70mol%以上90mol%以下のジルコニウムを含む請求項5に記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。
- 前記工程(a)において用意される金属酸化物担体は、セリウム、ランタンおよびネオジムからなる群から選択された少なくとも1つの金属を含む請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。
- 前記工程(b)において用意される前記溶液は、波長300nmの光に対する吸光度が0.8以下である請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。
- 前記工程(b)において用意される前記溶液の塩素含有量は、1000ppm以下である請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。
- ハニカム状の基材の表面に、前記触媒粉末を用いて触媒層を形成する工程(e)をさらに包含する請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法。
- 内燃機関と、
前記内燃機関からの排気ガスを外部に導く排気管と、
請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の排気ガス浄化用触媒の製造方法によって製造され、前記排気管内に設けられた排気ガス浄化用触媒と、を備える自動車両。
