Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Both Baret and Sinan were extremely friendly and hospitable right from the start. They made sure we are missing for nothing and kept asking what they can do to help (including offering me real turkish coffe that i like and saving small breakfast for us since we were leaving at 4.00 to the airport). The hotel is new and everything is clean and is located near many shops and near some attractions. very good value for money. will come again.

Reception staff Berat and Kurban take care of all guests one by one, we had a smooth journey with the airport transportation service they offered. If my wife and I go again, we will choose this place again, we had a very good time. Definitely recommend for first time visitors.

The hotel has a quiet location, very close to tram and metro stations, within a few minutes' walk of all historical places. RussiaIt is very close to the historical sites (Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar etc.), 4 minutes walking distance. We were able to go everywhere easily with the tram located 100 meters above the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was truly incredible. PolandUnfortunately, the room was very small, and the beds were terrible – uncomfortable and creaky. The breakfast was disappointing and honestly not worth the time. Starting around 4 a.m., the call to prayer from the nearby mosque is clearly heard. I definitely do not recommend the airport transfer for €45. The driver was smoking in the car, the air conditioning was weak, and the vehicle was dirty. Taking the metro for just €1 is a much better and more comfortable option.
The best thing about this property is definitely its location.

United KingdomThe airport transfer arranged by the hotel was a terrible experience! Upon arrival at SAW we waited 40 minutes for our driver to turn up. Upon getting to the hotel we booked our transfer back to SAW, told reception we would return to the same airport and showed our flight details. The driver took us to the wrong airport! We had to pay 100E to get taxi back to SAW and almost missed our flight. The hotel were very rude and said this was all our fault. They lied and said we told them this airport, why we would say this and be going to a different airport does not make sense. I had to block their messages because they were making a stressful situation so much worse! I know they will respond to this saying I told them the Istanbul airport and not SAW but this is simply not true, my husband and myself both checked in together and know which airport we told them. I was very thankful to the taxi driver that drove very quickly to get us to SAW and helped us catch our flight in time

NetherlandsThere could have been a few more amenities provided in the bathroom (body cream, body wash etc). The breakfast options were also limited and if you came down at the wrong moment there was sometimes nothing left.
The hotel had an excellent location a few minutes walk from all major attractions and many restaurants. It was a newly renovated hotel and felt clean and fresh. Our room was spacious and had great windows allowing lots of light and fresh air at night. Bed was comfortable.

EstoniaThe room does not match the photos at all. I was provided with a room located on the 6th floor. Experiencing maintenance work during my stay was unexpected and disruptive to overall comfort. It was inconvenient not to have a kettle in the room, making it challenging to enjoy a hot beverage at my convenience. The absence of bedside tables was quite inconvenient, leaving no convenient place to keep personal items. The wardrobe provided was exceptionally small, making it difficult to organize and store clothes properly. The lack of a table, chair, and adequate storage space made it challenging to work or organize personal belongings. Placing the bed near the entrance was uncomfortable, and the absence of a designated area for shoes added to the inconvenience. Furthermore, the absence of a sofa in the room limited seating options and overall comfort. Additionally, the difficulty in connecting to Wi-Fi, requiring assistance from the reception, was inconvenient in this digital age.
On a positive note, there were several commendable aspects: The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, creating a positive atmosphere. The bathroom facilities were well-maintained and exceeded expectations. The presence of an elevator was convenient and appreciated. The hotel's location was convenient, providing easy access to nearby attractions.

United KingdomThe room was very small.The fridge wasn’t working. Our reservation said sea view but we were facing the street. They did move us to another room with a working fridge but same aspect! We had horrible brown synthetic bedding to start with. We asked for white as in the pictures. Someone came up with a single sheet who clearly had never made a bed before. The manager eventually did it herself. Breakfast was okay. The woman manager was very good, friendly efficient and helpful

SwitzerlandThe hotel is new, but the room is small and basic. The wardrobe is uncomfortable, the bathroom without hooks or amenities. The room hasn't been cleaned for 2 days because the cleaning lady was sick.... unacceptable for any hotel, but especially for a new one!
The hotel is good situated, at walking distance from Cemberlitas and the Grand Bazaar. The staff is very helpful and nice. The breakfast bufffet has a big choice, but mainly Turkish food, so no big choice for European tourists.

RomaniaWell, my first and biggest disappointment was cleaning. We arrived at 1 am or so( i mention this because i would have asked for another room but there weren't available at that time), and we found the toilet seat splashed (it was brown wink wink). After we received the room, the guy from the reception called us to ask if everything is fine, i told him that the cleaning could have been better, but that didn't seem to change the next days, we still found hair on the bed sheet after they changed them. There was hair on the bed shits, on the sink , in the shower. Another thing that I didn't like was that we put the deocrative pillows (the ones that for sure are not cleaned between clients) in the closet and they opened the closet(why?) and put them back on the bed when they cleaned the room. The pillows in my opinion are the cheapest one, and for us were very very uncomfortable.(but this might be a personal preference) The soundproof is nonexistent basically. I don't have big expectations from a hotel, just to be clean and comfortable so I can get a decent sleep and shower. For a 116 euro per night for a double room I find all the above unacceptable. I have stayed in 2 stars , 3 stars hotels in europe that were cheaper and I had no such cleaning issues with none of them. If cleaning would have been good, i could have lived in peace with the other aspects.
Location was good, close to transport means and touristic area. Staff was kind and available to help at any time. Hotel room looks nice, and in my opinion the room size enough. The staff at the hotel can help you with airport transfer.

After looking at many reviews we chose The Omiya Hotel because it offered a triple bedroom, modern, very central to the main attractions and proximity to the restaurants and overall a good price with breakfast included. The room was more spacious than the photos described. Very clean and comfortable. There was even Netflix available! Berat, Kurban and Shidokht were a lovely team. Fantastic customer service and very helpful! Berat in particular would go that extra mile to help us, arranging our taxi transfers, even a takeaway delivery with the best “lamachun!” Thank you for that!
