How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Perfect location for getting to all the sights in Old Town by foot. Also the tram was only a 4 minute walk. Hotel was clean, staff extremely helpful. Breakfast was good as well.

Comfortable, no frills location that matches the description. Very convenient location near the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The breakfast was great and staff were very helpful. It's a small room but it had everything I needed for my stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Little was missing. The breakfast was not my style and the coffee was rather mediocre. The fridge in the room is always lit up, so at night you had to pull the plug to darken the room.
The location is good, the Grand Bazaar and the Hagia Sophia are within walking distance. Tram is also nearby. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean and have air conditioning.

Good location. The room was big enough and modern very good shower. Had the ground floor 101 for the first night as it was fully booked which was small and next to the lift but was moved up to top floor and room great with small balconies and much better mattress. All the staff very helpful Great value for money and staff really welcoming

Nothing, everything was good.
Clean, newly built and well maintained. Within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque. Also arranged very good Bosphorus cruise. Staff is also very helpful.

The room is standard and quite small. Shower heads should be cleaned to remove hard water marks and broken bins, worn out towels need replacing please in future. Unable to sleep because of fridge light being on.
A fair selection of breakfast items. Staff super friendly and pleasant.

Everything was great!
Great location, walking distance from all old city attractions: Hahia Sofia, Blue mosque…,metro and bus station to get you anywhere in Istanbul! Room was specious and renovated, excellent bathroom and large shower (sometimes hard to find in Europe). Great breakfast too and most of all very nice and helpful staff (young man in morning shift was especially nice and friendly). We even got little gifts before leaving! Highly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast could be more varied and the coffee could at least be Turkish.
The hotel's location is close to the tourist attractions, to the transportion that lead both to the airport and to the Asian side. The location is recently renovated, has functional air conditioning. The rooms, although small, are spacious and clean. The breakfast is good.

Streets has business shops which is OK but the area ambiance is not superb
Neat clean small rooms and close to Grand bazar and 10 mins walk to Grand Mosque. The guy Furqan helped us for late checkout

Very nice hotel. Good location, close to the blue mosque and grand bazar. Close to public transport. Good local breakfast. Nice and quiet room, clean bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Originally I was in the ground floor room across from the lift everyone has to use but as soon as a another room was available the next day they moved me with no problems and were happy to help in every way

Nothing ! Everything was perfect
1. The property is conviniently located within walking distance from all major attractions. 2. It is clean, the rooms are amazing, with all basic facilities. 3. Daily house keeping is available. 4. There is a very good breakfast spread every morning. Especially, the hotel staff is amazing ! Always with a smile on their face, greeted every time we saw them. Gave very useful tips to us whenever we needed. We got a room upgrade, the room was amazing and spacious, with amazing Bosphorous views. They also gave us cute souvenirs when we were leaving ♥️ Overall, 10/10, highly recommended. We will be back again !
