For us it was not a problem at all, but for elderly visitors it could matter that this hotel has no lift/elevator. In case your room windows are facing the street then tram bell ring could be heard quite loudly during late evening or early morning, windows are not soundproofed. On the other hand loud muezzin call to prayer from Hagia Sophia will wake you up in the early morning either way - that is Istanbul :)

Very clean and cozy hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet - Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace can be reached in 3-5 minutes by foot. Bazaars and Galata could be reached by foot in 15-20 minutes, otherwise there is also tram stop nearby for reaching other parts of Istanbul. You can find plenty of places to dine in the streets nearby. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, breakfast is on the rooftop terrace. And special thanks for receptionist who helped us by contacting the driver who came to pick us to airport! :)

I wish there was a lobby also breakfast was nice and filling a lot of different choices however I wish it was different every day kind of same plat every day

We were given a room with no blackout courtains, upon request we were given another room. The AC didnt seem to be working properly barely chilling the room

The location of the hotel is great a minute walk from the entrance to the Gulhane park. The staff was helpful and kind. The best is the breakfast terrace that has a great view.

Its a budget hotel but expected a little more for the price, needs a little upgrading; also noisy in the rooms at the front with the trams, traffic and also 04.30 every night/early morning the call for prayer which woke us up with a bump but whilst in Istanbul we learnt to embrace that…. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as steep steps to rooms and no lifts

Location was perfect! Very close to the “must sees” in Istanbul and also the day/nightlife of bars and restaurants; couldn’t be in a better location; staff very friendly and accommodating who each day gave us water to take to the room, room was clean and adequate for sleeping and showering and out seeing the city

There's a restaurant, also owed by the hotel next door, at night you can still smell some of the food. Even if you close the windows. We got a room in the back with a window towards the wall. There is no elevator, they will bring up your luggage though.

The pluses location, restaurant, comfy beds, a/c strong, and clean facilities, bathroom clean. close to all transport and attractions. Definately a place to stay if that's your concern. The staff was so nice and helpful though

From the time of our arrival, we had a great time in the hotel. Meheran was kind and accommodating to our needs and explained patiently about attractions in the area. the room was spacious for 2 for Istanbul standards. Very happy with the cleanliness and daily .housekeeping. Breakfast was provided each day in the upstairs terrace with ease for smokers. I was not aware of the hotel location when booking so I was pleasantly surprised we were able to walk only a few minutes to Aya Sofia, Topkapi palace and Gulhane park to enjoy spring tulips everyday. we are also able to walk to Sirkeci and Emininonu and we are not used to walking nor are very active at all. Tram stops merely metres outside the hotel and we had no issues getting to Taksim or Kadikoy on the Asian side very quickly taking the Marmaray near the hotel. good experience and highly recommend for couples. Although please note usually hotels in Istanbul don't have lifts or elevators.

The staff were not very friendly, just responded to what we asked in a few words. Nothing more or less. We requested for 30 mins late check out considering we checked in late and but was straight away declined our request. Beds were not clean. There were coffee spilled spots on bed spreads. We just stayed for a night, so didn't really bother complaining

Nice cosy rooms, not small or not big. Just enough space for a couple who has planned to mostly go around for the day and use the room just to crash for the night

Please be mindful you need to walk with your luggage to the hotel as taxi cannot come to the hotels. However, one can use trams. Was a nightmare for us as we had lots of luggage. Plus, there is no lift in the hotel if you are provided upstairs room.

The location is perfect with all attractions nearby. All restaurants are at walking distance. Good breakfast with plenty of options.

I bit noising due nto the train which pass just in front of the hotel. i believe nothing can be done about it.

Everything was great! Very friendly staff. Many thanks to Ahmed, he is very kind and helpful! Hotel location is ideal for visiting monuments and walk around the beautiful Istanbul. Everything is near. We will prefer this hotel in our next visit. ( Angeliki - Nektaria - Varvara: visitors)

There are 3 floors of rooms and no elevator which wasn’t a problem for me but just be aware.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The property is located in a great central location for getting to all the major attractions. The breakfast is adequate and a plus for not having to worry about getting out in the morning and finding something to eat right away. Great value for what you pay.

I think they have a problem with their tap water as the tap is either very cold or very hot! I think its broken

Ilike the free upgrade! I just asked for another duvet as i came with a friend and they gave us free upgrade instead! The hotel is close proximity to all the mosque and tourist attractions in istanbul.

The location is near to main attractions like hagia sofia, blue mosque, Gulhane park etc. breakfast was good, although could be better i.e. may add-on a bit more varieties for kids. Love the interior decorations too. The paintings, and tiles on the wall. Very unique and pretty. Overall, a very good hotel with friendly staffs. We had a pleasant stay. Recommended 👍🏻
