Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaAnother foot in the width of the room would make it easier to walk around the bed
I liked the coffee machine in the lounge I liked that there is a lounge If we travelled with a group it would have been very handy. I will consider this for my next trip

CanadaI had e-mailed ahead of time to ask if I could check in early, as before arrival I had to spend the night at the airport and so was very tired when I got to the hotel. The reception person was helpful but they had no record of my request. She did her best. Room was comfortable. I understand the "European style" concept, but this hotel goes to extremes: no kettle, no coffee maker, nothing. Those items ARE found in European hotels: I was just in Europe last week. There is a lounge where coffee is available, but guests have to pay extra for it! Seems cheap. There is only one hook for clothes, and no clothes hangers. Only one towel hook. No good reading light when in bed. No "do not disturb" sign for the door. Some of these things could be provided at little cost, even with the "minimalist" concept of the hotel.
Great location, easy to get to many other downtown locations. Room was comfortable and so was the bed. Surprisingly quiet, given many negative reviews about the noisy bar downstairs. Staff were great, very helpful.

CanadaIt was a very minimalist size of the room, we could hardly walk around the bed:) lol:) The shower was also modern design but the water pressure wasn’t good. There was no hair drier in the bathroom and it was too late for me to contact to reception because I had already pyjamas on me. Ah yes, there was no phone to call the reception anyway:)
Very modern, nice looking room! The location was very good, very close to restaurants and breakfast places… The staff was very friendly and smiling! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and our view was ok.

CanadaI am not opposed to minimalism but rooms should also be less claustrophobic. Odd sized room with beds tucked in a corner with little room to reach the other side, often hurting our legs. Some rooms have two small windows but most seem to have one small overlooking next door roof, making the room dark.
Winning point of this hotel is the staff. Every one of the staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. Rooms were clean. Location was perfect.

CanadaThe concept of this hotel is minimalistic so rooms have no TV, no fridge, no coffee, no hair dryer. Room is pretty small the king bed takes up a lot of space. There is however a lounge on 2nd floor where they have 2 tvs, laundry room, big coffee machine and a mini fridge (which was overloaded with food unfortunately) it’s a pet friendly hotel so be ready to hear dogs in the hallway early morning.
Comfortable king bed, modern shower, overall clean room.

CanadaAlthough I like the concept of the hotel (no amenities in the room - coffee, tea, phone, iron, etc. - and thought having to pay for coffee in the communal room was a bit too much! When we checked in, the front desk person was less than helpful! She hardly spoke and didn’t explain anything to us! There was another couple staying at the hotel with me, and obviously we checked in together. I was asked to give a credit card for incidentals, and she used the same card for the other couple. I had no issue but she made an assumption and didn’t ask if that was OK to use the same card! I don’t use housekeeping (unless staying for longer) but the fact that nothing was signposted about how about getting fresh towels and linens was off-putting. Requests are made the front desk, new items left at your door - which I have no issues with, good to know no-one is entering the room - but didn’t know what to do with the older towels. As mentioned, should be a sing in the rooms or fully explained when checking-in. I appreciate this is deemed a budget-style hotel, but explanations would be helpful!
Good-sized room and comfortable.

CanadaNo blow drier.... I expect one in all rooms these days ... that was my only disappointment but quite a big one And a little tight getting into bed on the window side but the super comfy bed made up for it.
Excellent location . Plenty of available parking next door and on the street . Loved the coffee machine in the lounge . Loved the trail side music hall. We never sat in the Dali cafe but it looked wonderful and great music coming out of there. Also the staff were really wonderful.

CanadaThe hotel is located next to a nightclub that plays extremely loud music on the weekends. During my two-night stay, I was not able to sleep before 2 a.m., which is when the party ended. The doors offer no sound insulation, so from my room I could hear someone in the neighboring room being sick and vomiting several times. It was also possible to hear people having sex and a dog barking.
Excellent location, the room was very clean and well organized, and the customer service provided by the staff member Hanna was outstanding.
