Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe water pressure was very low. I was excited to stay at a hotel after being in an airbnb with a terrible shower situation and was a little disappointed to see that the water pressure was pretty much the same. Also there weren't any closets or hooks except a single hook in the washroom and one in the main area above the desk. You could also hear people talking and walking in the wall as the bottom of the door didn't quite reach the floor. That also allowed for a lot of light to come in through the bottom of the door making it a little difficult to sleep. We placed a towel along the floor to cover up the light.
I visited PEI the end of September which is unfortunately when hurricane Fiona rolled through. While there was no power, the water was running. We were supposed to stay elsewhere one night but couldn't get there due to the storm and we were fortunate enough to extend our stay an extra night here. Luckily the power came back on the same day we checked in which was awesome. The employees were very helpful and friendly and overall the hotel was nice. It's located in a great and central location in the heart of downtown making it very easy to get around by foot.

Czech RepublicThey requirement of either 200$ debit card deposit or credit card is not mentioned on the booking site beforehand.
Nice looking, although not very spacious rooms with A/C and good lighting control. Shower is ample. Great downtown location. There's a lounge and kitchen for guests on the second floor. There's also coin laundry (2$ each for washing and drying). Accommodation and helpful staff. Café at the ground floor offers fairly decent food. Low-budget travelers friendly.

CanadaAlthough the bedroom was really nice and modern, it could get a fresh coat of paint. Adding a TV would also be a plus.
The location is great, right in the middle of Downtown Charlottetown. The hotel itself is really nice, has a modern feeling, it's in great shape. Even though the bedroom is quite small, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern, with a great shower. Since there is no TV, we brought our laptop to stream using the hotel wi-fi, which was good enough.

CanadaThere were dust bunnies on the hallway carpet. I was there during hurricane Fiona so no power, and no lighting in the hallway.
Location is great. The room is small, but efficient and comfortable. Nice hot shower despite a province wide power failure related to hurricane Fiona. There was a good parking lot nearby.

Chile-Parking was on the street. Totally safe, but I had to deal with it in the morning: paying, moving the car after 2hs, etc. -In spite of the great conditions of the room, it was super small. It felt like quite a tight space for 2 people, and does not meet the expectation for the price. Just something to consider anyway.
-Very clean and tastefully decorated. -The shower was great, with regular and overhead options. -Good isolation from street noise. -Lots of towels and shower dispensers on the wall, very practical. -The bed wasn't too soft.

United StatesThe shared lounge area felt too much like a worn college dorm lounge.
We did not eat at the hotel; if breakfast was included we weren’t aware of that. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We got lucky with parking, free meters right across the street. Great location.

CanadaThe maids were very loud in the hallway in the morning. They started talking loud enough to be heard in the room at 8 am.
The hotel is a fabulous location. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom very nicely outfitted. We enjoyed the communal lounge and the restaurant next door.

CanadaThe toilet was clean but our dissatisfaction is there was no ventilator fan in it - and the bedroom was small cramped containing a queen bed and small desk backed against toilet wall with no space left so there was no closet to hang our clothing. The hotel walls appear thin because we are disturbed by the noise whenever another room opens and shuts and when guests or staff are talking outside we can hear every word almost!
Location of this hotel excellent, reception staff at front desk was welcoming and helpful and the lounge on 2nd floor with coffee machine, TV and laundry facility was a very useful feature. Meals and drinks at the restaurant and bar was good too. The bed linens were very clean and the mattress comfortable.

CanadaI don’t mind the small room but it would be nice to have enough space to walk around the bed comfortably.
Great location! Room was small with not much space to walk around bed, but also the price is much better than other hotels in the area so it makes sense. Could still fit our daughters play pen in the room. Perfectly clean!
