CanadaNo TV in the room was a little odd at first as I’d never experienced it at any other hotel before. This said the wifi signal is great and we used our tablets to stream. Giving it some thought I completely understand why a hotel wouldn’t waist money on cable to each room.
This is a really cool hotel in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. The main floor has a concert venue and we were able to obtain tickets for an East Coast Kitchen Party. Absolutely amazing time and completely unexpected. We will only stay here when we come back.

The receptionist on our check in was so sweet and good humoured to us and a very authentic person. She was welcoming and concisely informative. The room was perfect for our extremely short overnight stay and the bed was so comfortable. We didn’t pay for a lot of extras (that are still available, if required and requested) which is far more in tune with the times.

CanadaI gave a great review because I appreciate the minimal-ness. The beds and showers are great, what more do you need? I don't need a TV because I don't mind using my phone for my media consumption. There's lots of great breakfast places around so I don't need continental breakfast. The location is fantastic in the middle of Charlottetown and the staff are very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there.

CanadaWe weren't aware that it was an old dorm residence converted into a hotel prior to booking. No tv, fridge or hair dryer in room (dryer available upon request and communal TV on 2nd floor). Water pressure in the shower was quite bad. Coffee machine on second floor was out of order. Small window in room and not much natural light.
We were on the 4th floor and had a great nights sleep - comfortable bed and quiet! Location was close to harbourfront, restaurants and shops. Staff held our bags for us prior to our 4 pm check-in so we could walk around.

CanadaEverything else. No place to sit in room, no television in room no complimentary coffee or tea. 8 dollars plus tax for 2 small coffee. No view window looked into an alley with buildings beside. No parking and no arrangements made with parkade next door to give guests a parking pass. Vending machine was out of order for drinks. Left the second evening even after paying for the room.

CanadaThe "common room" as a replacement for having a TV, coffee, and other typical amenities in one's OWN room. Perhaps the worst was the lack of a proper bedside lamp so one could read in bed. I cannot recommend this hotel.
