Breakfast itself good, however they ran out of coffee on day one and then out of cups on day 2 and it was a while before either was replenished either day. Same with breakfast breads there were a couple bagels but no other bread for a long while before that was replenishedand the toaster was horribly slow ! It became a joke amongst those waiting. Just seemed maybe short staffed?

The views and attractions were great and memorable.

The views and attractions were great and memorable. We visited Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, China Town, and the Ferry Terminal. We also dined at StarBelly in the Castro District, and enjoyed a long walk through that colorful and lively area. We were intrigued by the WeyMo vehicles, but did not try one as there were six riders and we did not think that would work. One drawback we encountered immediately upon our arrival. We were at the WorkForce Transit Center and could not get effective guidance for the public transportation. It delayed us because different people gave different information and we ultimately (after wasting at least 40 minutes) arranged a Lyft transport to the area in which we were staying, We loved the great burgers at Super Duper burgers and an excellent Udon restaurant attached to the Stoneside Galleria, and StarBelly was a wonderful experience (outstanding service, and impressive menu featuring unique and tasty dishes, and excellent wine!)

We enjoy going to the beaches, the Boardwalk and the local restaurants. We found that breakfast at Zachary's was excellent. Their potatoes are really tasty and the have homemade bread. We had dinner at Bedda Mia. Their Spaghetti alle vongole and Carbonara is good. We would go back to both of those places.

Make sure you won't have a long wait for the shuttle. I needed a break after a long flight. If I had not gone into San Francisco and stayed the night, returning home the next day. I would have had seven more hours in airports and returned home after midnight. It saved me.

I grew up in Napa and it's very interesting to see the local enhancements such as new restaurants, businesses and entertainment venues. I usually spend my time in the old part of town walking and viewing the historical Victorian homes that have been restored to their previous glory.

Room inspections a little more because my bed was loose at the head of the bed. I sit at the foot and the head raises up like the beds going to flip over. And there was a Band-Aid on the heater dials that were on the wall room 321. The walls in the shower needed to be washed down. There was hair on the walls of the shower.

Palo Alto, nice neighbour hood which felt safe. I was able to walk from the Caltrain station to the hotel without feeling afraid. Although not much to do in the immediate neighbourhood. Nearby areas like Santa Clara and Hillsdale provided things to do. Great to see the Scharity shop in the area.

The crown jewel of parks is right in Santa Rosa.

The crown jewel of parks is right in Santa Rosa. Howarth Park has lots of sun AND lots of shade, with terrific play structures, a carousel, and a wide variety of spots for kids to play. I'm a big fan of the mix of a rural feel with a good sized city. There is plenty to do, glorious parks, and scores of fruit tres. Our grandkid loved seeing Peanuts statues all over town.
