Abstract
L'invention concerne un bol de frein à tambour comprenant un carter (201) sensiblement cylindrique et un élément de friction (202) agencé à l'intérieur du carter. Le carter est constitué au moins en partie de tôle. L'utilisation de tôle dans la zone des tambours de frein permet de réduire le poids, et peut être mise en place lors de la fabrication de tous les freins à tambour comme solution de construction légère pour les tambours de frein installés.
