A method for navigating to a shared location of interest, and a navigation system. The method comprises: recording type labels matched with navigation map locations, type labels matched with user preference locations, and navigation user marked locations (S100); detecting a location type inputted by a user and a current position (S101); when a user marked location matching a type label matched with a user preference location is present within a one kilometre range of the current position of the user, prompting users (S102). The present invention records the type labels matched with the navigation map locations, the type labels matched with the user preference locations, and the navigation user marked locations, and shares a shared location with other navigation users when a user is near to a user preference location type.
