Abstract

The invention relates to a pouring device (3) for attachment to a container (5), preferably to a glass milk bottle, the container (5) having a top bottle edge (10), a plurality of thread projections (12) and a fixing web (15). Said pouring device (3) comprises: - a disc-shaped lid part (19) through which a pouring opening (20) extends and which has an upper face (21) and a lower face (22), the lid part (19), on its upper face (21), being provided with a pouring spout which has a tear-off edge, and - a jacket part (24), which is annular and extends downwards from the lid part (19) to the lower face (22) thereof, said jacket part (24), on its inner face (24a), having lugs (24b) which, in the state of use of the pouring device (3), cooperate with the thread projections (12) of the container (5). An annular region (30) on the lower face (22) of the disc-shaped lid part (19) is designed to cooperate, in the state of use of the pouring device (3), with the upper bottle edge (10) of the container (5) or with a seal (40). A ventilation channel (25a/b) is provided to allow air from the outside to flow into the container (5) during the pouring of liquid from the container (5), the ventilation channel (25a/b) substantially having a first portion (25a) and a second portion (25b), the first portion (25a) of the ventilation channel (25a/b) being arranged on the lower face (22) of the disc-shaped lid part (19) and the second portion (25b) of the ventilation channel (25a/b) on the inner face (24a) of the jacket part (24) and extending in a direction different from that of the first portion (25a). The ventilation channel (25a/b) is partly delimited by a portion of the upper bottle edge (10) of the container (5) in a circumferentially closed point.
