Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et une unité de thermoformage ou d'assemblage (5) permettant d'insérer un élément (14) dans un produit. L'utilisation de la technologie d'étiquetage dans le moule (IML) dans des unités de thermoformage est connue depuis peu de temps. Selon l'invention, des éléments sont insérés dans les produits (14) à fabriquer sur des unités de thermoformage ou d'assemblage (5). Ceci est avantageux par exemple lorsqu'une protection mécanique particulière est souhaitée pour les éléments à insérer, ce qui peut être notamment le cas des composants intelligents tels que les transpondeurs RFID ou d'autres puces. L'invention permet également de réaliser une liaison mécanique entre des pièces moulées par injection et des pièces thermoformées ou assemblées.
