Abstract

The present invention relates to furniture for leisure and tourism and concerns a method for assembling a system that consists of two mutually transformable items of furniture: a deckchair and a sun lounger. The technical result of the claimed invention is that of simplifying the structure and lending it rigidity. This technical result is achieved in that the foldable portable furniture system is assembled from a set of individual linear elements and a flexible material. Assembly is carried out on three load-bearing supports, namely two front supports and one rear support, which are provided with openings for the insertion of crosspieces. The flexible material is stretched onto the crosspieces secured to the load-bearing supports. Sitting and reclining positions are determined by the mutual position of the load-bearing supports. In order to lend rigidity to the structure, the front supports are connected to the rear support by cross braces. At the points where said braces intersect, additional crosspieces are installed individually for each of the positions. The ends of the braces are connected to the front supports in the region where the crosspieces are inserted.
