Abstract
L'invention concerne l'agencement d'un catalyseur dans un système d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne pouvant fonctionner à l'aide d'un carburant contenant du manganèse. Le catalyseur est disposé dans un parcours d'écoulement des gaz d'échappement du système d'échappement du moteur à combustion interne, un disque sacrificiel perméable aux gaz d'échappement étant disposé dans le système d'échappement avant le catalyseur dans la direction d'écoulement des gaz d'échappement. Si la contre-pression des gaz d'échappement devient excessive pour un fonctionnement normal du moteur à combustion interne en raison de dépôts de manganèse, il n'est pas nécessaire de remplacer le catalyseur, seul le disque sacrificiel, peu coûteux, doit être remplacé.
