Abstract
パティキュレートとNOxの同時低減を図り得る排気浄化装置の搭載性を従来よりも改善し且つ圧力損失も抑制し得るようにする。 排気管4の途中に選択還元型触媒3を装備し且つ該選択還元型触媒3の上流側に還元剤として尿素水7を添加してNOxを還元浄化するようにした排気浄化装置に関し、尿素水7の添加位置より上流に、排気ガス5中のHCを酸化処理する酸化触媒2を備える共に、前記尿素水7の添加位置と前記選択還元型触媒3との間に、尿素水7をアンモニアと炭酸ガスに加水分解する加水分解触媒を担持したパティキュレートフィルタ1を備える。
