Abstract
本発明では、プラズマディスプレイパネルの製造方法において、排気管を背面基板に気密接着するための封着材を、焼成後、排気管を気密接着する前に、真空中で予め加熱溶融させておく。従って、貼り合せたパネルの排気工程を短縮するために、封着材を再度真空中で加熱溶解しても封着材に気泡が発生しない。このため、真空中で長時間封着材を加熱溶融して気泡を除去する必要がない。その結果、真空中における排気管の気密接着工程を短時間で行うことが可能になる。
