Abstract
本発明は、トラックピッチ50~500nmのプリグルーブを表面に有する基板の該表面上に下記一般式(A)で表されるアゾ金属錯体色素を含有する記録層を有する光情報記録媒体を提供する。 一般式(A)
A・(Xp+)k' 一般式(A)中、Aは、(L2-)2(M)で表されるアニオン性部位を表し、L2-は2価のアゾ色素アニオンを表し、Mは金属イオンまたは金属酸化物イオンを表す。Xp+は、Cl-等と塩形成した場合に、350~700nmの波長領域における最大のモル吸光係数が20000dm3mol-1cm-1未満であるp価の有機カチオンを表し、pは1~10の範囲の整数を表し、k’は0<k’≦4の範囲であって、Aで表されるアニオン性部位中の負電荷をpで割った値を表す。但し、Xp+が非環状のアルキルアンモニウムカチオンである場合を除く。
