Abstract

L'invention concerne la fourniture d'un contenant de culture d'hépatocytes et un procédé de culture d'hépatocytes qui peut reproduire une fonction hépatique dans le corps vivant. Un contenant de culture d'hépatocytes (10) selon la présente invention est un contenant de culture d'hépatocytes (10) ayant une pluralité de microcontenants (11) sur la surface, et la zone inférieure de chacun des microcontenants (11) varie de 0,01 à 0,1 mm2, et la hauteur d'une paroi latérale (13) constituant chacun des microcontenants (11) varie de 25 à 150 µm. De plus, la forme du fond de chacun des microcontenants (11) est isotropique, et son axe majeur est de préférence dans la plage allant de 1 à 1,5 fois son axe mineur.
