Abstract

Disclosed is a commercially excellent method for producing a β-fluoro-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound, which is useful in applications to functional chemicals such as pharmaceutical products, with high yield and high selectivity. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a β-fluoro-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compound, wherein a β-dicarbonyl compound is reacted with a specific fluoroamine.
