Abstract

　現地の光ファイバへの組み付け作業をより低コストに実現することができる光コネクタ及びその組立方法を得る。 　ファイバ挿通穴１５が貫通形成されたフェルール３の先端面に、所定の屈折率で光を透過する略シート状の保護状部材１７がファイバ挿通穴１５を覆って貼着され、前記フェルール３の後方に連結される位置決め機構５により位置決めされた光ファイバ１４が、前記フェルール３のファイバ挿通穴１５を挿通して前記保護状部材１７に弾性力を持って先端面を当接される。
