Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement and to the use thereof for specifically detecting substances from samples, in particular a biochip, based on a substrate and a connecting layer arranged on a substrate. Said arrangement comprises a connecting layer formed on a carrier substrate and an examination substance coupled to the connecting layer. Said carrier substrate is a semi-conductor substrate and the connecting layer is at least one inorganic insulating layer formed on the semi-conductor substrate. At least one medium and at least one organic examination substance is applied to at least one area on and/or in the insulating layer, and a coupling element is arranged in the at least one relevant area between the insulating layer and the at least one examination substance. The test substance coupled to the insulating layer can interact with a test substance. The invention also relates to a method for producing the arrangement in which at least one medium and at least one organic examination substance is applied to at least one area of an inorganic insulating layer formed on a semi-conductor substrate, and as a result of interactions between the organic examination substance and the inorganic examination substance, a coupling is formed between the organic examination substance and the inorganic insulating layer, and the area is formed in order to interact with a test substance and/or to interact with said examination substance by applying a test substance.
