Definitions

  • the invention is generally related to digital systems for performing payments through the cellular phone network, specifically to pay by phone parking space fees in special areas of the city.
  • Background of the invention Today the cellular phone systems are in a technological level that permits their use to perform payments of taxes, fees or bills by telephone.
  • TDMA, CDMA and GSM Technologies as well as the existence of digital telephones with capabilities to receive and send SMS or MMS (short messages), as well as WAP and GPRS services, provide the necessary background to create the system for payment of fees and bills revealed in this description.
  • the invention relates to a digital system for payment of bills or fees using the existing cellular phone network and the TDMA, CDMA and GSM technologies or any other equivalent technology that might substitute them.
  • This system is based only in the use of digital cellular telephones adapted for the services of SMA, WAP, MMS and GPRS, and in specific software installed in the telephone companies or companies that administrate the service to charge the said taxes.
