Abstract

Appareil et procédé de spectroscopie à distance par RMN/RMI comprenant une bobine de codage pourvue d'une chambre d'échantillon, un organe fournissant des supports de signal, de préférence du xénon hyperpolarisé, et un détecteur permettant de mettre en oeuvre une séparation spatiale et temporelle pendant les étapes de préparation et de détection du signal. Cette séparation permet d'optimiser indépendamment les conditions physiques et les processus des étapes de codage et de détection. Le codage des molécules supports peut avoir lieu dans un champ magnétique intense ou faible, et des séquences d'impulsions de RMN classique peuvent être divisées entre les étapes de codage et de détection. Dans une forme de réalisation, le détecteur est un appareil de RMN à champ magnétique intense. Dans une autre forme de réalisation, le détecteur est un dispositif supraconducteur à interférence quantique. Une forme de réalisation utilise la détection optique d'échange de spin Rb-Xe. Une autre forme encore utilise un magnétomètre optique à rotation de Faraday non linéaire. La concentration des supports de signal dans le détecteur permet d'améliorer considérablement le rapport signal sur bruit.
