Abstract

The invention relates to holonomic transmissions infinitely changing the torque which can be used for mechanical engineering, transport means, machine tool engineering and for other purposes and systems which use an automatic and a forced continuous changing of the frequency of rotation of an output shaft as a function of the load torque applied thereon at a constant or variable frequency of rotation of an input shaft. The inventive transmission comprises coaxial input and output shafts fitted into one another, differential and planetary interconnected gears and a means for connecting to external units (a hydraulic motor, a hydraulic pump, a free wheel unit and an engine) and transmitting rotation from the output shaft to the input shaft. Said means is connected to the input shaft and the carrier of the differential gear by means of a pair of gear wheels and to the carrier of the planetary gear by means of another pair of gear wheels.
