Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Orotidin-5'-Phosphatdecarboxylase-Gen mit der Sequenz SEQ ID No. 1 oder seine Homologen, ein Genkonstrukt enthaltend dieses Gen oder seine Homologen und dessen Verwendung. Die Erfindung betrifft ausserdem Vektoren oder Organismen enthaltend ein Orotidin-5'-Phosphatdecarboxylase-Gen mit der Sequenz SEQ ID No. 1 oder seine Homologen. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Uracil auxotrophen Mikroorganismen sowie ein Verfahren zum Einbringen von DNA in Uracil auxotrophe Mikroorganismen.
