Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un couvre-lit, une serviette jetable ou une bande adhésive qui détecte la présence d'humidité et active en conséquence une alarme sonore ou visuelle. Le dispositif selon l'invention se compose d'une toile absorbante qui entoure un matériau électriquement conducteur. La réception de substances liquides électriquement conductrices provoque la fermeture d'un circuit électronique, ce qui active le dispositif d'alarme. Ce matériel peut être utilisé dans le domaine de la santé pour prévenir les étouffements par vomissements (broncho-aspiration), les refroidissements et toutes les autres maladies provoquées par l'humidité. En outre, il permet également de détecter toute fuite de liquide lors de l'administration de substances par voie intraveineuse.
