Abstract
Blanket, disposable towel or adhesive tape which detects the presence of humidity and activates a visible signal or sound alarm. It is comprised of an absorbing fabric wherein is wrapped an electricity conducting material. Upon receiving electroconducting liquid substances an electronic circuit closes and activates the alarm signal. The equipment can be used in health applications to help prevent suffocation by vomiting (broncho-aspiration), to help prevent catching colds and other diseases caused by humidity and to detect liquid leaks during intravenous application of substances.
Description
Within the field of medicine there is no device on the market that prevents problems that occur in children with pylorus disease where multiple deaths due to bronchoaspiration have occurred
Por consiguiente la idea de diseñar un aparato para ayudar a prevenir tales 10 problemas, permitió, además ayudar a prevenir otras situaciones de ahogamiento por vómito en bebes ancianos y otros enfermos inmóvilesTherefore the idea of designing a device to help prevent such 10 problems, allowed also help prevent other situations drowning babies vomiting in elderly patients and other immobile
El dispositivo ayuda además , a prevenir el resfrío y otras enfermedades causadas por la humedad, en particular, en seres humanos que no pueden utilizar pañales i s desechablesThe device also helps prevent cold and other diseases caused by moisture, particularly in humans who cannot use disposable diapers and diapers.
En enfermos inmóviles, puede enviar señales de alerta en situaciones de fugas de líquidos, tales como sueros, medicamentos o sangre, lo importante es que se trate de un líquido conductor de electricidadIn immobile patients, you can send warning signals in situations of liquid leaks, such as serums, medications or blood, the important thing is that it is an electrically conductive liquid

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓNDESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention consists of a cover, disposable towel or adhesive tape that detects the moisture excreted by a human body of any age or the presence of any liquid conductive substance of electricity outside the body that can cause an accident. The complement of this device is an alarm that emits a sound or a visible signal.
iThe characteristic details of this apparatus are shown in the following description v 30 in the accompanying drawings i
La figura 1 es una perspectiva convencional del aparato con sus componentes El No 1 representa el cobertor, es toalla desechable o cinta adhesiva que detecta la humedad el No 2 el cable de conexión y el No 3 el dispositivo de alarmaFigure 1 is a conventional perspective of the device with its components No. 1 represents the cover, it is a disposable towel or adhesive tape that detects the humidity of the No. 2 connection cable and No. 3 of the alarm device
Inside the disposable towel or adhesive tape cover (No 3) there is a flexible electric conductor cable or other electrically conductive material that can be a conductive paint (No 1) This material is installed in a geometric arrangement that allows moisture to interconnect it to close an electronic circle The No 2 is a device that interconnects the sensor with the alarm
No 9)Figure 3 represents an alarm device with its components but it is only as an illustrative modality of the application of the invention since any variant of known alarm systems can be used. The signal from the cover is received through a cable (No 10) and a connector (No. 11) and is transmitted to a pair of transistors (No. 4) connected in Darlington configuration that work with their associated components such as resistors (No. 7) that go into conduction to activate a solid state developer ( No 6) which is the one that finally drives a horn (No 8) with an integrated intermittent oscillator The developer carries a diode (No 5) in parallel to avoid erratic oscillations The circuit is powered by a 9 volt battery (No 9)
La idea del cobertor, toalla o cinta adhesiva que puede ser cualquier tela absorbente de la humedad, ya sea de algodón o de algún material desechable y los electrodos instalados ya sea algún cable conductor u otro material conductor de electricidad constituyen, en parte, lo novedoso del equipoThe idea of the cover, towel or adhesive tape that can be any moisture-absorbent fabric, either cotton or some disposable material and the electrodes installed either a conductive cable or other electrically conductive material constitute, in part, the novelty of the team
a) Al derramarse algún líquido conductor de electricidad sobre la superficie del cobertor, se cierra un circuito que pone en funcionamiento la alarmaThe separation between the electrodes determines the response time of the alarm that works as follows a) When an electrically conductive liquid is spilled on the surface of the cover, a circuit is closed that puts the alarm into operation
b) Mientras el cobertor, toalla desechable o cinta adhesiva estén húmedos, permanecerán activados, por consiguiente, deberán secarse cambiarse o desecharseb) While the cover, disposable towel or adhesive tape is wet, they will remain activated, therefore, they should be dried, changed or discarded
