Definitions
- a flow cell from Hewlett Packard is also known, which is also composed of a large number of individual components. Two highly planar parts, into which electrodes are integrated, are separated in a housing by a thin non-conductive film. A flow path for the transport of the liquid sample through the cell is omitted in the film, so that the internal volume of the flow cell is determined by the thickness of the film and the area of the recess in this film.
