  • a system commonly used in the dental branch is the "Light Tip", manufactured by Svenska Dental Instrument AB, Upplands VSsby, Sweden. This system produces small coneshaped "pieces" of dental composite which can be pressed in between the restoraton and the neighbouring tooth, thereby creating pressure on the latter. Unfortunately, this only creates a contact point where as a contact line would be morphologically correct and this is not possible using the "Light Tip”.
