Abstract

L'invention concerne un produit de modification d'une matière brute végétale constitué par un produit obtenu par traitement de cette dernière avec une solution alcaline et, simultanément, alimentation en oxygène ou en air en présence des composés des métaux transitoires choisis dans la quatrième rangée de la classification périodique des éléments, et contenant des sels d'acide carbonique, oxycarbonique, aminocarbonique et oxyaromatique d'un rapport de teneur en groupes carboxyl compris entre 0,1 et 40,0 % en poids, calculé sur la base du poids sec du produit. Un procédé d'obtention du produit de l'invention consiste à traiter la matière brute végétale avec une solution alcaline aqueuse d'un pH compris entre 10 et 15, en présence des composés de métaux transitoires choisis dans la quatrième rangée de la classification périodique des éléments, tout en assurant une alimentation en oxygène ou en air ayant pour effet la séparation du produit désiré. Le produit de l'invention est utilisé comme substance adhésive, comme additif pour boue de forage et comme antipirène.
