Abstract
Composition dépilatoire comportant un composé dépilatoire, notamment le thioclycolate de potassium, et une ou plusieurs argiles smectiques ou kaoliniques, par exemple la bentonite. Le pH de la composition est compris entre 11,5 et 12,7. L'argile sert à améliorer la sensation que l'on éprouve lorsqu'on applique ladite composition sur la peau, ainsi qu'à atténuer l'odeur désagréable associée au composé dépilatoire. On peut ajouter à la composition une amine tertiaire répondant à la formule générale NR1R2R3, dans laquelle R1 représente une fraction grasse de chaîne longue possédant de 8 à 36 atomes de carbone, et R2 et R3, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, représentent une fraction grasse possédant de 1 à 36 atomes de carbone, afin d'assouplir les poils courts et raides restant après que le composé dépilatoire ait eu son effet. L'amine tertiaire n'altère en aucune manière l'efficacité dudit composé dépilatoire.
