Abstract
Sont décrits un échangeur d'ions comprenant un composite présentant un degré de gonflement dans l'eau de 2 à 7 ml/g de résine, ledit composite étant préparé par le maintien d'un gel réticulé, lequel comprend une macromolécule naturelle hydrophile possédant une structure réticulée tridimensionnelle et comporte des groupes échangeurs d'ions, dans les pores d'une particule poreuse d'un copolymère réticulé hydrophile présentant des pores d'un diamètre de 0,01 à moins de 1 νm, un volume de pores de 30 à 70 % du volume de résine et de préférence un diamètre particulaire de 5 à 500 νm; un procédé pour sa production; et un procédé pour séparer des biopolymères tels que des protéines à l'aide dudit échangeur d'ions. Cet échangeur subit peu de variations de volume, sert à remédier aux insuffisances des gels réticulés classiques lors du passage de divers liquides, et offre l'avantage d'être exempt d'adsorption non spécifique et d'avoir des taux élevés d'adsorption et de désorption dans la séparation de biopolymères tels que des protéines.
