Abstract

In the analysis method by capillary electrophoresis with fluorescence detection, a sample containing the product to be analyzed marked with a fluorescent agent is passed into an electrophoresis capillary having an inner diameter not exceeding to 100 νm, a laser beam focussed onto the capillary by means of a light concentration device is used to stimulate fluorescence, and the fluorescence is detected in a colinear manner, in the axis illuminated by the laser beam and on the same side of the capillary, by means of the light concentration device used to focus the laser beam and a photodetector. The method provides for a large variety of applications, particularly in molecular biology and in the pharmaceutical field as well as in the determination of traces of ions.
