In 1906, Madam C.J. Walker made a bold business decision: putting her own image on her product containers. As her great-great-granddaughter A'Lelia Bundles shares, "To say that I'm beautiful enough to put myself on this product container... was quite radical." The business was later inherited by her daughter A'Lelia Walker, who became America's first high-profile Black heiress and a key figure of the Harlem Renaissance.
