There are different supermarkets and restaurants around. We were able to cook everyday. The beach is less than 5min from the house, same for the train station, super close to the accommodation. The experience of sleeping in the tatami was great and super comfortable. The bathroom is also a hot spring and it is super cool and relaxing. The meals were excellent (both dinner and breakfast) and were served in the room, which has its pluses but is also a little strange as there is staff in your room early in the mornings. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The outside onsen is beautiful and is accessed with a fenicular which is a fun experience. Futons were comfortable and we had a private sink and fridge. The area is lovely and easy to walk from the station.
