The hotel is in a very good location for all amenities. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful. When talking to the chap in reception, it turned out that he worked in the small town where I was born in the UK. Oldham. It certainly is a small world.

It's not a big issue, but the WiFi inside the room is very poor, but if you go outside, the connection is better.

The place is magical and really comfortable. The staff is very helpful and helped us organising a tour. The breakfast is good with local products and abundant. They don't have a restaurant at the premises, but you can order food from one of their partner restaurants and it will be delivered to your room. Also you can find good local restaurants within walking distance. Thanks.

The property is so cool and unusual and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The staff is the best- they catered to our every need and personalised everything. They were so nice and helpful too. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend it and would definitely go back.

The architecture of the entire group of buildings is very nice and integrated. The breakfast was good and with many choices. All staff are very supportive and friendly, trying to make things happen to make you comfortable. Room was spacious, carved in the stone as this is zone’ specific. You can easily reach the city center (10 minutes walking) and you can find many good restaurants around.

I liked everything.

Excellent hotel with very nice rooms. Mehmet and his staff are super nice and they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They also booked all the tours and transfers for us. Wi-Fi is good and available everywhere on property. Very quiet place 10-15 minutes walk to downtown Urgup with lots of dining choices. Rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast had lots of choices. Excellent breads, a la carte omelletes, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruits lots of jams etc. Also a big bonus is that this hotel has an elevator. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing. We are on self drive and google map shows their the old street entrance which is very narrow. I request them to update their entrance route in Google Map.

The location was very good. The breakfast was also good with very varieties of Vegan option. As we are vegetarian so they also helped me and allowed me to go in kitchen & prepared little bit things for us. The owner also helped us to search for good vegan restaurants. I will always suggest my friends to stay there. Rooms are superb and big sized.

There is some dust falling from the rock walls so you need slippers to go to the bathroom.

The breakfast was very good and varied. The staff were very kind, welcoming and helpful. The location was very good to discover Cappadocia by car. The apartment is large and beautiful and really carved in the rock. We really enjoyed our four nights stay.

Everything! The location was very easy to find and walk to restaurants and shops. The property and room were beautiful and well appointed. The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. My 12 year old son said that Daniel was his favorite person he met in Turkey! The breakfast was one of the most delicious and fresh that we had on our whole trip. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace to sip wine and have a lovely dinner under the stars. Thank you for such a magical stay.

Fantastic room, very spacious - the bathroom was larger than many hotel rooms. Totally loved the "cave experience". The hotel was tucked away on the side of the hill, but easy walking down to the town centre which was lively and had various dining options. After being in the area for a day or two, we were very happy with where we stayed. Would not have changed a thing.

We arrived late to the hotel in the evening and the receptionist offered to accompany us to the town when she finished her shift to show us somewhere we could get food. To get to the hotel from town by foot is difficult due to the steep incline. The taxis are however very affordable.

Well, there's nothing not to like. One could argue that there's no room service or restaurants or spa. But then, that's not why you would stay at Taru Cave Suites!

If you're expecting a fancy 5-star with room service, spa, multiple restaurants and all the other creature comforts, Taru Cave Suites is not for you. They're a small, family-run business with ten rooms, so they don't have all those bells and whistles. What they DO have however, far outweighs what they don't – an authentic 'cave' experience balanced with just the right amount of modern-day comforts. We reached the hotel quite late and Daniel at the front desk was up, bright as a daisy, to check us in and help us get settled. The reception is at the top level and the rooms are spread across three levels down. The room itself was spacious with a cavernous (literally and figuratively) attached bath. A big, comfortable metal (wasn't sure if it was wrought iron or brass) bed, a couple of chairs and a TV assured us we were living in modern times. A huge balcony was the highlight (ours was the only room with a balcony). Sadly, it was raining and cold and windy, so we couldn't make proper use of it. There is no room service, nor does the hotel have attached restaurants. Of course, you can order in from the restaurants in Göreme city center (they have the menus in the room), but we chose to walk around and eat at authentic places close by. They do have a breakfast place where a staff of three makes fresh breakfast every morning. If it's not too cold, feel free to take your cup of coffee to the attached terrace and enjoy taking in the view. The staff is amazing – friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Special shout-out to Daniel (thank you for taking our calls at midnight just to tell us the WiFi password!) and Bahar (thank you for pointing us to the Apetito restaurant!) Would definitely recommend this place.
