Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandWe stayed here for just a few hours during a short stopover, and it was exactly what we needed. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had all the essentials for a quick stay. The location is very close to the airport, which was perfect, and the 24-hour check-in made everything easy and stress-free. Breakfast was simple but just right—we had ham and cheese toasted sandwiches with coffee and orange juice, which hit the spot before heading off. Ideal for anyone needing a convenient rest between flights.

United StatesI wish the hotel had a strong and reliable Wi-Fi connection, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available during our stay. While we’re used to firm mattresses in Southeast Asia, these beds were extra firm and made it hard to sleep well. The biggest disappointment, though, was the lack of an on-site restaurant. The listing on Booking.com clearly stated there was one, and it was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Instead, we had to walk several blocks to the nearest restaurant, and while the food was authentic and good, my 10-year-old daughter didn’t feel safe making that walk in the evening. She even asked, “Why is this so sketchy, Dad?”
My daughter and I stayed at The Phoenix Hotel Bangkok – Suvarnabhumi Airport on two separate occasions for brief overnight layovers near BKK. The room was simple but spacious enough for both of us, with a small balcony that was a nice touch. We weren’t expecting much, so there were no real disappointments. The 7-Eleven just around the corner was definitely a lifesaver; super convenient for quick snacks and essentials. The airport shuttle, while not complimentary, ran every hour, was always on time, and the drivers were friendly and helpful.

ThailandThere's really nothing I can complain about. Maybe It would be useful to have some ready to eat food or snacks for guests arriving late at night.
It was very easy to contact the hotel and arrange for the shuttle to pick us up despite arriving on a late flight. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport. The check in process was quick and professional. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped with all necessary amenities. The bed is comfortable and the area is very quiet at night. Breakfast offers a fair selection of tasty food and hot drinks and the breakfast room is clean and tidy. Staff is very polite.

New ZealandThe only complaint we had was that we couldn't control the AC in our room. The remote control for the AC wasn't working, so it was stuck at very cold with the fan speed on high, so we were very cold through the night.
Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. Good price for airport shuttle. Nice clean room, comfortable beds.

IrelandI thought the hotel had a café/restaurant but this wasn't the case so it meant I had to go out in the evening to find something to eat.
Convenient. Walking distance from the Lat Krabang station, very close to the local temple and to shops and street food vendors. The airport shuttle was easy and took about 12 minutes. Satisfied.

United StatesThe shower head dripped after I took my shower. It was late and I was exhausted, so I didn't say anything, but I'm sure if I had alerted the staff to the issue they would have taken care of it.
I have stayed here several times when traveling to or from Thailand. The location is convenient to the airport, the property and rooms are clean and modern, and the staff is friendly and professional. I was traveling with medication in a cooler with icepacks. I arrived very late in the evening and my icepacks needed to be re-frozen for my travel the next day. The staff quickly accommodated my request and put my icepacks in their freezer. When I retrieved them the next morning, they were neatly wrapped in plastic and labeled with my room number.

DenmarkPretty far from the station (20 min walking), but the place in general is very cute and cozy, no thrash or mud. Due to location you will hear all the planes , for me was not a problem but for one’s a light sleeper might be helpful to consider
AC, good location, available transfer to the airport every hour. Kettle and water in the room. The bed was comfortable. 7 eleven and noodle stalls nearby. Definitely recommend

United KingdomThe hotel is really close to the airport which is perfect for early flights. There is a 7/11 near by and the place is well signed so Grab can easily find it. Its a little while from the centre but Grab is affordable enough! Staff are friendly too. The building could do with some plants or paintings in hallways but reception and rooms are nice!
