We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it here. We had a sea view room, it was on the first floor - we would have liked a higher floor but it was still a beautiful view. The room and the entirety of the grounds were spotless and so grand. Breakfast had a great selection and the restaurant space was huge and spread out so it didn’t seem there was a time where it was at its busiest. The hotel is well staffed and each and every one we met were lovely and so hospitable! The pool area was exceptional, lots of space and the beds are regulated so that people couldn’t reserve beds at silly hours in the morning. The pool bar is the best we’ve had on holiday, the relaxing music and cocktail menu is beautiful. We spent a day at Purobeach too which was fantastic. We will be absolutely back, and for longer!

United KingdomDespite all the very good points, for us we found some major negative points unfortunately. On arrival in the room, we noticed the balcony/terrace was very dirty. Bird poo all over the floor and sofa items all soiled and in terrible condition (see photos). For us the terrace was unusable and not safe for our young one. Looked like the hotel had given up on cleaning the terrace, neither was the terrace door ever opened by the cleaning staff. For the price we paid and the 5 star rating the hotel is advertised, this is not acceptable. I understand they have issues with birds etc, but then do something about it, make a covering or tidy away the lounge seats after cleaning etc. There are simple ways to improve it, and the hotel needs to do better. Also, the cleaning staff were pretty lazy, just doing the minimum. The rooms were clean, but many days we were left with a lack of towels and the shampoo / hand soap was never replenished or checked. This is also not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Please do more to make sure this is sorted for your guests. Also, we found the pool loungers to be dirty with bird poo which was disappointing (95% of them dirty). The loungers need to be cleaned properly after every day and tidied away so they are not left out to be pooed on by birds. This is expected of a 5 star hotel. Please sort these issues out, as it is bringing the hotel down and we can't recommend the hotel due to this. Overall everything else was great, but these are big issues and we were disappointed to see this in a 5 star hotel.
Staff were all excellent, very friendly and engaging. Breakfast buffet was from 0730-1030 and for us it was very good. Had food for all tastes. Good variety and fresh. We were seated by the staff and always found us a table we requested. Hotel location is excellent, right on the marina on one side and on the beach on the other side, very close to all restaurants / bars. Great for families with buggies or wheelchair users. We booked a family room. All family rooms are on the 1st level, which was a little disappointing as the view would have been better higher. But understand that the larger rooms can only be on the lower level due to the layout of the hotel. Room was big enough and clean, also bathroom clean. Pool area was big and lots of garden space for loungers, but did look quite full when the hotel was full. Pool bar good and delicious food options delivered to your lounger.

From the rooms to the balconies, so we could not use our balconies at all & the bars flies everywhere etc. the staff said they were unable to do anything about it. We had not been notified in advance so we could decide if we still wanted to stay and they were reluctant to offer us some type of compensation or discount given we could not use some of the facilities like the balconies were not useable at all! Steak Resturant was nice. Expected the cocktails to be better at the bar. Also the staff at the be club were quite rude on one of the days. Our family came to join us a few days later at the beach club, just came over to say hi once once their flights arrived & the beach club staff made quite a scene about them coming on to the beach beds for a moment & caused a scene & fuss over nothing… there were lots of beach beds available and there manner was not friendly & or professional.

United KingdomThe flies are a problem- but this isn’t the hotel or staff’s fault. And just a problem that should be explained to customers, as it’s just a naturally occurring problem. Where lots of British customers think it’s a hygiene problem, it’s not. And the staff are cleaning these flies daily.
