Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandBedroom side lights didn't go. Shower was blocked and would have flooded if I didn't know how to fix. Turned water off. Lifted bottom plate and waited. Then had short shower. I didn't find a restaurant anywhere so bought some veg, cheese, rolls and ate in park. Need to know where hotel is. On left, top of road. No parks so go around again to get to be able to sign in and be told where parking is. First room shown, twin beds < 2ft/1/2m from wall.
Staff and neighbour's were helpful. Room I ended up in, after change, was good. Breakfast was lovely with yellow cherries on a bowl at my table. Adequate choice of cheese, sausage, breads. Cereal, etc Carpark not far up hill on the right in someone's garage. Interesting old building.

United KingdomAlthough we paid for the room using a credit card, they were reluctant to the point of being rude about wanting cash for the meal. Our bill was 50 euros & we just didn't have that cash to hand. Awkward! Breakfast was good but spoilt by serving orange squash not orange juice.
Location was close to Bragança centre, with private car park just 50 metres away - locked at night. There is limited street parking, with a coin parking meter. The lady that checked us in & took me to the car park couldn't speak any English (nor us Portuguese!) but was very friendly & welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, with home-cooked fish dishes. Menu had an English translation which was very helpful Breakfast was basic but met the mark - bread rolls were fresh & delicious.

PortugalNo reasons to complain.
OK value for money. The family room really had a lot of beds (1 double and 3 small), one of them was separated by courtains. So it is really possible to accomodate a big family in one room which for that money is a good deal. Breakfast was very basic, even more basic than in other cheaper hotel I visited in Bragança a week earlier. Here you will not get brioche and selection of jams: just normal bread, 1 jam and butter, cheese and ham, orange juice, coffee and milk. Though it is enough for the unpretentious traveller.

PortugalI did not completly apreciate the fact that the cleaning ladies were able to enter the room when i was not present or when i do not open the door for them to enter.
The location was almost at the center making it a bit easy to find a taxi. The cleaning ladies were so kind and make people comfortable and feel like they were at home.

SpainThere was nothing I "didn't like" it was very basic and dated
It was very basic but for 50€ for the night, really can't expect much more. The room was clean, the breakfast is simple and everything is a little bit dated. But it's good if you wanna save some cash and be in the center

GeorgiaThe hotel is located near the historical center of the city and shopping facilities, as well as the bus station. The staff is very friendly and try to accommodate your needs despite the language barrier. Breakfast was fine. You won't have an omelet, but you will be treated with seasonal fruit and freshly baked bread. Overall, very friendly service and value for money
