Over the weekend, the hotel was very busy, and the staff at breakfast seemed to be struggling to cope with the numbers. Maybe if guests were able to get their own tea and coffee at breakfast that may help.

This hotel was gorgeous. Everything from the foyer (lobby), the room, the view and the location was perfect. It is located a little outside the main tourist area, but it is only a short and very pleasant river walk away. The staff were exceptional. We actually enjoyed being a little bit away from the main tourist area as it does get very crowded.

The hotel looked very nice on the outside and once you entered, the lovely staff was there to help you. The doors were opened for you and the staff took over the luggage. We first enjoyed our welcome tea with local biscuits. The rooms were very spacious and had everything you need. The food at the restaurant was very good and for breakfast there were many options you could choose from.

The WiFi was not great considering that this is meant to be a reputable hotel. Quite a few other reviews have mentioned the same issue so I really hope that this is addressed.

Lovely building and great views of the river. The hotel staff were fabulous and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.

Charming, beautifully decorated boutique hotel full of character. Ample parking, convenient access to shops and places of interest. Excellent service by staff. We celebrated our 25th anniversary here and it was the best choice ever. We will be back! Thank you housekeeping team (Aldi) & Rooms Manager Bowie Looi for making our stay so memorable.

The main hotel is set in a tradtional family home with all the authentic furniture of the time period and very tastfully decorated. The staff are excellent and the facilites outstanding!

In a "vintage" structure, sound carries through the walls, including plumbing noises.

Very charming Boutique hotel, well modernised having preserved a lot of character. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Ample secure parking, just by the hotel. Excellent service by caring staff. Good restaurant serving a selection of national and international dishes. Breakfast cooked to order and served individually. Nice pool. Good location, close to the historical centre (10 mn on foot) but away from the crowds and noise.

The twin beds were single and too small. Bathroom dividers allow sounds from Bathroom to invade the room. Quite unpleasant

In the gym three pieces of equipment (2 running machines and cycle) non functional. Drinking water hot in gym. No wheelchair access to restaurant for breakfast.

There is a super big issue and that is the sound insulation. If someone is opening the water tap in the next room you will hear a very loud sound and the problem is you will hear all the other activities in the next door bathroom plus if they fill the whole bath then you will hear the whole sound of filling the bath. It was so loud and very strange for this amazing hotel.

Staff are so friendly. The place is so clean and clean well maintained.

The room we had was superb with views over the river. The bed was extremely comfortable and bed linen wonderful, The shower did leak water into the bathroom though as a seal was missing from the shower door.
