The breakfast was not good, and last day we woke up early to go to the airport and asked to get a breakfast and all what we got was a bad small sandwich that we did not eat.

The location was perfect, 1 min away from the main street and downtonw of Playa del Carmen

the bar was overpriced, the staff were not as helpful as they could have been, the room was not as clean as other places stayed, and the breakfast included from the buffet was cold not matter what time I went, except the omelette s which were made to order but took about 30 minutes to get each time.

i liked the location, and the balcony.

The only thing i would like to improve was the drinks. They taste a little watered down but if you ask for shots, it makes up for it.

Everyone was friendly, gentle & great with service. The place was amazing & there was always something to do.

last day in the hotel (Monday night) too noisy, at 3 am moving beds and drilling. Is a party hotel, so you get used to hear people talking loud or drunk sometimes but this was more maintenance sounds that anything else

The all inclusive package is not what you expect, There was only one restaurant, with a very very limited choice, unless you pay extra. Beer was served in small plastic cups.

The room was fantastic, clean and comfortable, the shower was a rainfall shower which is great.

We stayed at The Reef 28 for two nights and had such an amazing experience that we ended up extending our stay by one more night! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. Initially, the room we got was a bit noisy, but the staff were incredibly helpful and moved us to a quieter room the next day, which was perfect. The spa and facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding – probably the best we’ve had in Mexico. The location is ideal – just a short walk to the main shopping street. Every staff member we met was professional, kind, and welcoming. If we ever come back to Playa del Carmen (which we absolutely plan to), this will definitely be our first choice again!

What did I not like? Lol Beautiful selection of food every day, just make sure to ask questions. Restaurants offering Asain, Italian and Mexican cuisine. Food is very delicious. Rooms are clean, mini fridge stocked. Rooftop bar and pool with delicious menu. I definitely recommend. Great staff! Beautiful location right next to 5th Avenue! 4 min walk from public beach equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas (grab your towels). Multilingual staff. I could go on, but just book it! Lol

The hotel did not live up to the expectations of a resort. The wi-fi did not work properly on the first days and we were not offered with a solution. We were provided with contradictory information on when the breakfast was open, which cause that we missed it one day. Food quality for the breakfast was not what it is to be expected for a resort. Gym too small.

Wish it could offer complementary activities for the guests and also the rooftop was getting repairs done so it kind of ruined the vibe.

- We had no hot water on two of the nights we stayed. - Our room was not cleaned properly for days - smear marks on the glass, towels not replaced, bins not emptied and used glasses not taken. We had to ask the manager to come and take a look. - the power cut whilst we were in the lift and it dropped with us in it until the safety kicked in. We tried to tell the hotel staff to check the lift safety just in case it happened to someone else and they did not seem to care at all about this. - only 3 restaurants on the property of which some were only accessible on certain days. - it felt like the staff could not wait to get rid of us!

Great location, easy to walk into the strip and explore the town.
