How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The surrounding area which was a bit dirty.

I highly recommend staying at Turin Palace Hotel. It is a 10 star hotel with exceptional customer service. The location is perfect, across the street from the Porto nova train station walking distance to Piazza Castello,Piazza San Carlos, Po River and city Center. I stayed at Turin Palace the week of FISM 2025. The staff were so polite, courteous, and so accommodating to my family needs, helping with the taxis, restaurant reservations, and directions to the historical sites, palaces and museums. I appreciated the smiling faces and happy greetings every morning from the hotel staff. The breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit, pastries, croissants, cheeses, eggs, sausage, prosciutto bacon, yogurt, fresh juice, coffee, and cappuccino - excellent. I felt welcome and comfortable at Turin Palace and would definitely return. It was the best hotel that I stayed at during my nine day visit in Italy.

Loved everything!
Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, especially the bathroom. Lobby great for relaxing, close to the station. Loved the rooftop bar and the breakfast was amazing!

A wonderful hotel with exceptional staff right opposite the Porta Nueva railway station. A lovely rooftop bar & restaurant completes the experience. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, the bar and the restaurant.

Well located, stylish and spacious room. Staff were friendly and engaging. Rooftop bar offers great service a wide range of cocktails and wine and spectacular views. The gym is modest but fit for purpose.

Great location, go for the huge balcony, the roof bar is stunning with great views of Turin. Staff cannot do enough, we will 100% be coming back

Always a friendly welcome here. Top quality rooms, great terrace for an evening drink - and all just across the way from Porta Nuova station. It's not the cheapest hotel but the attention to detail is superb.

Nothing at all.
This is the best hotel during our journey in France and Italy. It's located beside the railway station. Room, lobby and dining room is elegantly designed. The minibar is free, and the hotel gives chocolate as gift. Continental breakfast is delicious. Definitely the best choice for Turin.

There were no glasses in the bedroom just paper cups, despite having a complimentary minibar, which I found surprising. Our prebooked meal on the roof terrace was moved to a rather drab and unpopulated dining room as we were told rain was expected. It didn't rain. We cancelled the meal booking and had a nice bar meal on the terrace instead. Would have liked a fuller early breakfast.
The room was bright and very spacious and had a large terrace. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom clean and well equipped. Breakfast was fabulous although on the final day we had to leave at 7am and only had access to a very basic breakfast. Spa was lovely. Roof terrace and bar was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

It’s a pity we didn’t get the bottles of water we asked for before going on the train journey, because there was no way to buy water on the boiling hot train for 3 hours 🥵

i would have liked the gym to be a bit larger for a hotel of this quality. and maybe a later checkout time. but the hotel was fully booked so not their fault
the hotel has a lovely ambience. decor is top notch. room was nice and large , staff was perfect,polite ,very helpful and responsive. breakfast was very nice . with a lot of variety . great location opposite porta nuova .
