How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was great to have the air-conditioning as it was 39° when we were there. It was rather noisy at night though. That's all.
Lovely apartment, more than expected. Very comfortable. Merida was an amazing city with lots of historical buildings and a great selection of restaurants, and a lovely river to walk along. Private parking below the apartment was very good.

Getting to the allotted parking space in the basement was a scary experience. The way down was steep, deep, dark and narrow - definitely not recommended for larger vehicles or drivers with a nervous disposition. Plus make very sure that you use the correct exit door or you may end up in a different part of the building. During our stay there was a loose floor tile near the doorway between the dining room and the bedroom area.
The property was very clean, spacious and well laid out. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect apartment for a small family. There is also a large enclosed patio area. Ideal for dining outside when the weather is nice but the area is overlooked by properties above. There is a small park out at the front of the building block which will be ideal for children. The property is located a short walk from the archaeological centre of Mérida. A free car park a located short walk away which we used, despite having an allocated space in the basement of the apartment (see below)

Though parking was included, it is a very narrow parking garage, don’t show up with anything bigger than a medium sized car.
It was fairly easy to find and in a good location for walking into town to see the Roman ruins, our main reason for visiting.

The beds weren't to comfy, but ok for just one night
The apartment had everything we needed for a night, also the fact that the dogs could stay with us is a plus.

Parking in the underground carpark was very difficult, I only have a ford Kuga and had to take the car forwards and backwards 5 or 6 times to get round each corner. signs for your lift door none existant. We walked up from level -2 and took the lift down to find our way. Location is poor no restaurants or shops we ate from the local garage. There is a small bar with friendly locals. The river with a park is a short walk. River is full of fish.
Fantastic apartment. Well equipt and clean. Large and extremely good value for money.

I asked if it was difficult to park nearby. They didn’t answer yes or no but just offered an expensive space that needed to be keft b 11am. There is actually loads of street parking. Felt a bit moneygrabbing. 10euros a night for a pet is expensive

The fact that we had to pick up keys from a totally different location. Made it very stressful on arrival.should be a better system.

The only thing missing was Hot Water kettle. Have to use pot to heat water for tea. You can manage with pot though
Close to City Centre and walking distance to monuments. Very clean and easy entry. Managed to park in street 2 minutes away. Carrefour express is 7 minutes walk and mini supermarket less than 5 minutes

The only issue I had was booking com through google maps directed me directly to the apartment and not the key collection address. After a long journey I was very tired. The key was brought to me. Thank you.
