Location can be a little scary at night perhaps. Also busy, if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping it might not be the best for you.

Great location for travelling by train with an overnight stop. Easy to walk into surrounding areas with food options. Staff very friendly, rooms comfortable and clean.

The neighbourhood is a little rough. The house the hotel is in seems to be a little older what is apparent in the structure and interior. Nothing to worry about for a short stay though.

The hotel is located only a short walk away from the train station, the central bus station, and the venue Markthalle. Staff is very friendly and helpful going the extra mile. Breakfast is good value. The room is spacious with a comfy bed. All very clean.

The view over the fire escape wasn't great, but it didn't really matter.

Very friendly welcome on reception, was polite in allowing me to test my German skills but also spoke perfect English when speaking to my wife. Provided hot water for small baby. Thank you.

The pillow was a little flat and the area around the hotel does not feel safe, especially at night. One morning I was faced with a man who - I presume - was trying to force his way into the hotel entrance door (which is secured through a fob) and yelled at me for closing the door .

Low price and relatively affordable breakfast option. The hotel is very close to the central station and the staff was very nice and friendly . Many of the grill restaurants around the area stay open until late.

The hotel is in a great position for those who need to stay close to Hamburg's main train station. The room and bathroom are small, but clean and have everything you need. The reception staff is very kind and helpful.

Overpriced for the standard of room. I appreciate it was a Saturday night and other hotels were more expensive but I feel £80 plus for a single with basic facilities is a lot. Also the location is a bit dodgy especially at night. Lots of noise and even a person sleeping on the pavement outside the hotel.

Close to the train station and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Couldn’t fault them.

The hotel is in a busy/noisy part of the city, some dodgy looking people around outside late at night was a bit uncomfortable and quite a bit of noise from outside. Mechanical street sweepers in the early hours disturbed us slightly

If you intend to stay for a few days, please beware that the surroundings are a little sketchy as you'd expect right by the central station. It's not the friendliest place to hang around, especially if you are travelling solo. But, for staying overnight, it does the trick for a decent price.

Location, location, location. Ideal for a cheap train stopover and that's about it. Clean, no fuss. Nice with a little sink in each room as the WC/bath is shared.
