When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

The location was ok, but the area was really shady. A lot of people are doing drugs... I didn't want to go out alone at night.. Shady area, with shady people around. No lift

elevator is half-stair system, and has a small room area such as everything in this hotel; room space is small, there is no space for a refrigerator. location is nearby the central station which is the only value; besides the street looked dangerous in the night.

Because it is near bus and train stations homeless people are so many and some drunk men are shouting in the middle of the night.i hardly slept that night.

Compare to the other big cities around such as Berlin and Copenhagen, generally in Hamburg, the hotel price is really expensive.

The bathroom was a bit too small, but as we stayed outside most of the time, it did not bother too much.
Comfortable location close to the main train station. Very friendly staff and the room was clean. Although the big street and very loud crowd outside the hotel, no noise could be heard inside the rooms.

Slightly dodgy area with groups of men ( usually homeless, drug addicts or drunks) hanging around day and night. We never felt threatened though and this is usual near major railway stations. The hotel is very secure.
Delightful, helpful staff. Great location close to station and other public transport so very easy to get to anywhere in Hamburg. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. We had a room at the back which was very quiet. Good to have a fridge in reception area with soft and alcoholic drinks for sale.

The shower drained really slowly like it was a little clogged (it was shared with the others on my floor). But ultimately it did drain alright.
Location was great, it's right around the corner from the Hauptbahnhof, very convenient. The breakfasts were really lovely, fresh coffee and juices, breads, jams, eggs, nicely laid on time. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, letting me keep my suitcase there for a few hours after I checked out, but before I left Hamburg. I'd definitely go back, such a good value and comfortable place.

The closest neighborhood is noisy with people doing strange things on the street. Police were called during our stay, and then all strange people disappeared for a while.
The stuff was very friendly and polite. The room had the right size for 4 of us (2 children, 2 adults), although we were sleeping just one night there.
