The neighborhood. The hotel is a narrow building in between convenience stores. The elevator is strange... The rooms are small and although somewhat renovated, seem too old. Breakfast is acceptable.

The room was very basic, with a small bathroom and a tiny shower cabin where even I couldn't fit (and I'm quite small). It was also very hot and stuffy (no aircon, just an old fan which didn't help much). Opening a window is not an option, as the street is very noisy. The neighbourhood felt very unsafe, with drunk and drugged people everywhere and shady characters lurking by the entrance. To pay for this room the amount of money which would get you a decent three star hotel in most European cities is ridiculous.

There are only two positives about this hotel - the friendly and cheerful manager/receptionist and its close proximity to Hamburg's Central Railway Station, the Central Bus Station and the city centre.

Mr. Hamid is a really warm and welcoming person. English speaking. The hotel is clean, towels and bed linen of good quality and the beds are comfortable. It was quiet during the night although it is close too the central station and the area is densed populated. Nice experience!

Perhaps a little better equipped rooms, for example a couple of glasses and small plates.

The only minus is that the drainage of the shower didn’t work quite well. The water accumulated a bit but in general not a big problem.

I’ve stayed in this hotel like three times in the past and it always fulfilled my expectations. The room is spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, better than mine at my home. The staff was very friendly and made me feel super welcome. The location is also good around the main station.

The street in front of the hotel "the war zone". As we called it has a lot street people,drinks, homeless, people begging. Loud crowded and generally disagreeable. It was always nice to get inside the peace and tranquillity of the hotel.

The hotel manager was excellent. Lots of great advice, extremely helpful and friendly. A real gem. Breakfasts were also excellent. Good food good variety. Very long hours made it easy to use. Excellent value

The stairways smelt of cigarette smoke, a lot of the building seemed like a construction site, the room smelt weird, and the shared toilet was broken.

Pillows were not comfortable, but the staff helped to fix that promptly!

Super friendly personnel, super clean rooms and sheets, comfortable beds. The location is comfortable, though the area itself seems a little bit noisy and warning from the first sight. But all the people in this area pay no attention to the hotel guests. at the same Time lots of stores and restaurants (that work almost 24/7) are definitely an advantage.

Overpriced for what it was. Lots of construction and not a very nice hotel. You can get way better deals with even spa included in the city. Would not book again.

Beds are comfy, it's right next to the trainstation and the team is super nice.

So close to station, supermarket nearby. Hotel being redecorated . Bed comfy. Got upgraded at check in to a better room. Wifi good.

The access to the hotel was a bit strange, as in not immediately accessing the hotel reception when entering the building. This is not the hotel for you if you have mobility challenges or are carrying heavy bags. The small elevator helps a lot, but you are likely to have to carry your bags up or down a half-storey.

The location near the central Hamburg train station is excellent! The room, newly renovated, was basic and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! The local neighborhood is very lively with lots of diverse cultures and people.

Area was a little intimidating at night. Bed was not the comfiest. Not possible to pay with Mastercard. Manager seemed to want cash. Only hotel I’ve ever stayed in, who required cash to use the room safe.

5 minutes walk to the station. Exceptionally clean bathroom.

Location was perfect, 5 minutes to the central station. The staff was very polite and helpful. There was a heating problem in the room but the receptionist gave us an electric heater, which worked really fast. The room was very very clean, one of the best that we've seen so far.
